Ellie had to spend 2 nights in the hospital last week because of a nasty throat infection. Her throat swelled so badly that it was cutting off her airway. She had a fever and was miserable. They performed all kinds off procedures and she barely even cried. She was the perfect patient. She had a shot, an IV, a chest xray, a cat scan and a scope up her nose and down her throat (twice) and she was amazing. After 9 long hours in the ER with a very patient mommy, she was admitted. Now she's having to deal with vomitting and diarrhea caused by her antibiotic she was sent home with. Geez! Poor kid. This is a picture from the hospital after she started feeling better.
