Almost had a new granduaghter last week. Christina was in the hospital with contractions, 7weeks early. They were able to stop them overnight and she came home. She was given medication to help the babies lungs develop and an ultrasound that put the babys weight at about 5.11 and was told that the baby was pretty much ready at this point so if labor started again, they would let her be born. She'll be called Brenna Nichole and hopefully won't arrive til late March. We'll see!

Pretty scary... hope that the rest of Christina's pregnancy goes smoothly. One of my friends out here just had her baby girl four weeks early. She weighed in at 7 lbs, 11 ounces, but wasn't breathing well, had to be life flighted to the NICU in Omaha. But she's breathing like a champ now though! Now she just has to prove she can eat like a champ too!
